Special Announcement from CCRA President

To Our CCRA Membership:

For those who missed our annual meeting last November, it was announced that

Kelli Olsen, MS, ODS-C was the 2023 recipient of the CCRA Distinguished Service Award.

Our Board wanted to congratulate Kelli again formally for being selected, and for the many ways she has promoted and supported those in our profession.

If you are not familiar with the Distinguished Service Award, nominees are evaluated in six areas: Service to the association, Professional achievement, Research and Publication activities, educational leadership, other contributions to the health care profession and society.

Kelli far exceeded accomplishments in all six of these award criteria. From the start of her career, she was actively involved in various regional and state associations. In later years, she served as CCRA President-Elect and President from 2014 – 2019. I served with her on her boards during several of those years. She provided needed leadership and many volunteer hours to the association.

Nationally, Kelli has been on the NCRA Executive Board since 2018, when she was elected to the NCRA Council on Certification and took on the role of Advocacy and Technical Practice Director representing the western US membership. Last year, she served as the Program Committee Chair for NCRA’s 2023 Educational Conference in San Diego. Kelli is currently serving on NCRA’s GPEC Committee, which helps guide the national association’s strategic plan, and is one of the candidates running for NCRA President-Elect/Secretary where she is on the 2024 NCRA election ballot.

Kelli has shared her knowledge and time through the many presentations she has given for the California and National Educational Conferences along with other healthcare professional organizations including the Society of Clinical Research Associates.

Kelli also has numerous professional accomplishments in recent years; as an Adjunct instructor for SBCC’s CIM Program, AHIMA Education Content Coordinator and NCRA’s online Formal Educational Program.

Finally, along with everything already mentioned above, she still finds the quality time needed for her family and volunteer work for her children’s activities.

Special thanks for Linda Judd for presenting our 2023 CCRA Distinguished Service Award recipient and Thank You Kelli for your exemplary dedication and service.
