Message from the President

Greetings CCRA,

We are coming up to the close of our Call for Nominations 2022-2023, and I would like to ask you to please consider joining the CCRA board. It’s through the volunteer efforts of dedicated members that keeps this association going. Each year, we need to fill vacancies as terms expire. For example, my term as President will expire this year in November at the conclusion of the Annual Business meeting, and I will then transition into the Immediate Past President role. However, if there is no one to succeed me, I am unable to vacate the position and move on from my elected duties. As is the same for any other elected officer on the board. If we have no new nominations each year, and no one to fill the much needed vacancies, we risk not having a complete board, which can ultimately lead to the dissolution of the association entirely.
