2026 CCRA Annual Education Meeting Notice — Save the Date

Hello CCRA membership,

This is Mark Cruz, your 2026 education conference Program Chair, and I encourage you to be on the lookout for the registration information for our November 2 Educational Conference event happening in Oakland, California. It will be a hybrid in-person and virtual experience that I hope you all can attend and enjoy.

Our program is shaping up very nicely and should offer a nice variety of Cancer Registry topics to capture the attention of everyone operating in the Registry spectrum. This year we are offering presentations covering abstracting text (the good, the bad, and the ugly),  Data Usage: How to transform your Registry data into impactful information for your Cancer Program, Cancer Disparities in the Asian American Population,  The Practicum Experience: A tale from both the Registry and the Student’s perspective, the American Cancer Society- Cancer Action Network overview, Colorectal cancer incidence in younger popuations, and Melanoma staging, and a few additional topics that are sure to pique your interest.
